Minutes of the AMMLA CongressBucharest

22nd-27th May 2008

The AMMLA working meetings were held at several locations (National History Museum, Romanian Academy of Sciences, meeting room of the National Grand Lodge of Romania). These meetings have also resulted in the varnishing day of two masonic exhibitions (artefacts, medals, historical documents) organized by the National Grand Lodge of Romania and the Regional Centre for Masonic Studies Paris-Bucharest.

Request for information on 18th century masonic peculiar peepshow

Dear AMMLA-partners,

please let me introduce myself as the new Director of the Centre for Research into Freemasonry. I was appointed in September 2007 and have now taken up my position in Sheffield. I look forward to cooperate with and assist you in the future. But to start with, I am writing to you with a personal request.

In the masonic museums of Bayreuth and Amsterdam, I have taken a picture of an 18th century masonic peculiar peepshow, that displays the workings of a lodge in an idealised manner.
